Lester Associates' Australian operation, traces its beginnings back to 1979 when Robert Lester formed Lester Associates. Robert's goal was the creation of a consultancy service designed to meet the needs of foreign contractors, particularly those arriving to work in The UK from Australia, South Africa and New Zealand. In 1997, Lester Associates launched its Australian business practice. From humble beginnings concentrating on the local supply of a customer care programme designed to meet the needs of UK bound Australians, the company has grown to offer fully comprehensive contract management services to both foreign nationals and local Australians alike. Servicing the needs of The IT&T, Finance & Engineering industries Lester Associates runs 1000's of payrolls per month, is active in every Australian State and Territory and continues to adhere to the groups founding principles of compliance and best practice.
